Graphic Artist Extraordinaire

Hi there! Welcome! I’m Corinne. I'm an Emmy nominated graphic designer. I spend my days making art and being dang good at it! Check out some of my work!

School

I studied Video and Animation Art at Virginia Commonwealth University. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, getting a taste of many different art forms. I ended up in a commercially driven art job, but it was thanks to my dabblings into various topics, some as standard as Adobe products, others as broad as linguistics and creative writing, that I was able to perform any task asked of me in my future positions.

Feel free to check out my oldest work, from my days as a painfully young art student. I am still proud of the work I did, even as my skills and thoughtfulness have improved significantly.

Experience

I have worked in Broadcast News for more than 6 years, honing my graphic design and animation skills, and picking up as much other knowledge as I can along the way. I’ve dabbled in template work in XPression, 3D animation with Cinema 4D, character animation (an entirely different beast than motion graphics) and I’ve picked up some video and audio editing tricks from my coworkers. Some of my motion graphic work has been nominated for an Emmy!

Goals

I am always so enthused to learn new things. The topic rarely matters, I just seek out new facts wherever I can. At some point I plan on pursuing a Masters degree, just for the sake of learning more things.

Not only do I thrive on learning, I thrive on teaching the things that I’ve learned. I’ve been referred to as an After Effects master by my coworkers, and while I would humbly bow out of so strong a title, I can admit to being extremely proficient. Passing on such knowledge to folks with less, or learning things from folks with more, makes my entire week brighter.
